DO
-Hand wash after every use in cold water with an extra-gentle wash.
-Soak for 15-20 minutes if time allows. This will remove most of the chemicals, salt, sand, and body oil that can damage the fabric.
-Gently squeeze (do not wring) out excess water and lay flat to dry in the shade.
This will preserve the fabric and shape. Lotion, sunscreen, oil, and chlorine can cause discoloration of this item; this is not a manufacturing defect. Please follow care instructions to keep your swimwear in the best condition
-Spot clean stains, so they don’t set
-Store suits in fabric or mesh bags. Avoid plastic, which can also provide a breeding ground for mildew and bacteria.
-Do care for your suit like it’s your favorite lingerie [heart]
DON’T
-Sit on rough surfaces while wearing your suit. It can cause pulling and snagging of the delicate fabric. Always lay down a towel before you sit.
-Dry your suit in direct sun because it will fade, and the heat weakens the elasticity of the spandex.
-Use a washing machine, even on a delicate/handwash setting.
-Keep cremes and oils off your suit because they can cause discoloration and weaken the fabric.
